One day in Istanbul fishing might be declared national sport: Galata Bridge, at the entrance of the Golden Horn and Bosphorus protrusions, are crowded by Turkish fishermen 365 days a year, at early morning and late evening. Without bait, a fisherman with a minimum of patience gets his reward. Not without reason Bosphorus water is famous for its fertility since the time of Homer! Located between the Marmara Sea and the Black Sea it is a forced crossing site for fishes in the region: from April to June they go up to the cold waters of the Black Sea in order to lay their eggs; from late August until late November, the come back again to the warmer waters of the Marmara Sea.

Fortunately, Turkish authorities each time are better controlling the activity of fishing companies, so the Bosphorus remains a very suitable place and certainly one of the most charming spots in the world for sport fishing. Therefore, with Cemal and Orcun sailor brothers, we have prepared an activity that at the same time allows to enjoy the beauty of the Bosphorus and ensures a good time to the traveler, either you are a fishing enthusiast or a curious beginner.

Price corresponds to an activity of around 3 hours 30 minutes of duration (30 minutes of transportation from your hotel, 4 hours in the boat). In case you wish to shorten or lengthen the experience, consult us!
